Exciting news Kid City USA Ormond Beach 2 is expanding!! We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Director who is ready to join our dynamic team!! Someone who is a team player and is ready to help take our hive to the next level.

Job description and duties:

Train and supervise staff, which may include teachers, assistant teachers, and auxiliary staff
such as kitchen staff or bus drivers.

• Process enrollment.
• Keep attendance.
• Accept responsibility for ensuring that the Kid City USA is in full compliance with all
• licensing and safe regulations (update licensing paperwork, schedule any needed inspection,etc.).
• Keep students and staff’s files up to date, including medical and emergency contact

information and record of any behavioral incidents. All files shall be kept in a lockedcabinet.

• Keep records of all staff members to ensure the records are in compliance with licensing and

continuing education requirements.performance.curriculum.behavioral issues, injuries or other situations that occur during the day.

• Review weekly lesson plans
• Conduct teacher evaluations and observe the teacher in the classroom and rate his/her
• Assist staff in setting and working toward professional goals.
• Review teacher’s lesson plans.
• When first meet with parents to introduce Kid City USA’s policies, fees, regulations and
• Keep relationship with parents pleasant, professional and confidential when discussing
• Bill and collect tuition payments.
• Conduct fire and disaster preparedness drills as required by law.
• Help and assist with any and all job duties required by all staff as needed.
• Visually inspect children for cleanliness throughout the day
• Respond to the children’s needs by listening for the child’s cues

*Must have active Director Credential

*Must have active CDA or equivalent

*Pass or have a level 2 background screening

*CPR and First Aid

*2 years as Assistant Director or Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,500.00 - $39,000.00 per year
